Pint Drop is the social gifting service. We were founded out of the limitations offered by the real world - one in which people are increasingly separated by larger distances. In the UK it has long been a tradition to buy someone a drink for special occasions or a thank you - and we bring a service that makes this possible even over the largest of distances. Our service does not stop there however - our partners can run verifiable promotion schemes and capture previously expensive engagement information about their customers. We bring a new level of digital marketing to our partners, large and small.

How it works

A Pint Drop drink voucher is just like any other cash voucher, except delivered instantly by text. We offer our customers £3, £4, £5, £10 and £20 vouchers. In order to accept Pint Drop vouchers, all you need is one of our small devices behind the bar. When someone comes in with a Pint Drop voucher, they'll show you their mobile phone with a unique code on it - you then punch the code into our device, and print off a receipt. The code processing is much quicker than processing a credit card, and the receipt is simply treated as cash behind the bar. Our code verification device means you can be confident that a voucher can never be used more than once and that you'll be paid for each voucher used in your bar.

With mobile phones becoming such a large part of our lives - it's important for pubs & bars to use this medium to stay in contact with their customers. With Pint Drop you can easily collect customer mobile phone numbers by asking a customer for their number and entering it on our device. We then collect details such as their name and interests and save it to your database to make sending future promotions easy and personal.

With all this collected data you can then run targeted promotional campaigns, verifiable with our device. This allows you to send better offers out to your customers - as there is no risk of fraud or re-use of promotional codes issued. For example, you could send everyone signed-up a free pint of beer, sure that the maximum number of beers you will be giving away is the number of vouchers issued. Good promotions in turn increase customer's desire to sign-up for the promotional service, especially through word of mouth, bringing new customers into your pub or bar.

Our service allows you to group customers by their interests to send even more targeted campaigns, and the performance indicators we can provide after running your promotions allow you to easily find out what customers want, which campaigns worked and who your best customers are.
