Web/Mobile Developer
This position is based in our offices in Aylesbury, Bucks. Flexible hours and remote work are available for the ideal candidate.
We're looking to take on board an experienced multi-platform developer. You should be an ambitious self starter, who loves our products and the technology involved. Your work will be highly varied, ranging from cross platform mobile development, to PHP development, road map discussions and front-end development. You should want to have a say in the shape of the product, work with minimal supervision and pay attention to detail.
Required skills/experience- Mobile app development experience (iPhone/Android/Blackberry)
- PHP 5 (Zend framework experience preferable, OOP & MVC experience vital)
- XHTML/CSS, preferably some HTML 5 / CSS 3
- Agile Development (e.g. SCRUM)
- Javascript (jQuery, JSON, efficiency is vital)
- MySQL (indexing, query optimisation, which storage engine to use, caching)
- Staging & testing experience (e.g. unit testing)
- Version Control (preferably GIT)
Useful
- Linux/Server administration experience
- Knowledge of various development methodologies, and the pros/cons of each
- Memcached
- Experience working with PhoneGap/Titanium
- Experience working with huge datasets (millions of MySQL rows)
- Experience working with highly redundant setups
- Experience working with the Facebook Graph API
